FltPlan Go for iPhone App Reviews

I am encourage you all to continue with innovations like this ...even though I fly an older plane I am beginning to feel I have the tools that might be in a Cirrus when combining your technology and my smartphone + GPS Kriol Bwai

Great app to have / use-- few bugs: map mode - edit route - not stable-- Also -- now when I go to view any airport procedure, the app crashes -- iPhone 5C Please fix

Not a bad program, but it continually loses track of what has been downloaded and you have to go through a very awkward set of steps to re-download. Until they get a grip on this, it is just a toy. Who has time to continually re-select and download. Awkward.

So useful for all areas of flying. Great for learning, planning and flying. FltPlan is adding more features all the time. And its free. Imagine that. Try it. You will like it.

Great app. Works well. I would like the iPhone version to display altitude and ground speed in map mode like the iPad version does.

Such a great tool for flying. I cant believe it free. Once you get used to the app youll then see exactly how helpful this thing is. Trust me, youll love it

There is no better app in the world!

This app has very high potential if they only update the interface to make it more mobile friendly, it is a replica of the website. This brings a lot of problems to the app. Such as big files to download and slow speed in the app. Please consider a user friendly app such as foreflight or garmin. Stay ahead with the synthetic vision and profile view.

To much in going on. The "location disabled" notification does not need to pop up each time I open the app. This can sometimes occur as much as 5 or 6 times when I open the app before it finally stops. Also there really is no need for this app to require a database update. Its already a data hog app.

This app is basically a web page inside the app... and that is terrible because you have to zoom in like crazy and move the page around just to create a basic flight plan. Come on!! You can do better than that!!

Bummer that I have to give it a 1 star but the functionality is super buggy. This app has so much potential but there are so many things needing to be fixed. To much to list here, but for starters: orientation of buttons are off when orientation is changed from portrait to landscape in all tabs, navigation in all tabs are cumbersome, layers dont work properly, etc, etc. The app needs a complete overhaul. Even if this app had an initial cost or a subscription, I would still get it. It’s a great backup navigator for the cockpit and it offers almost all the features of paid flight planning apps. Very well done.

I know all the rave is for fore flight. But I have been using this app instead of fore flight in a professional environment for several months. Honestly, I dont get the fore flight hype. This app performs flawlessly on my iPad mini for both VFR and IFR flights. It has the exact same function and includes some extra benefits the others dont have. Considering its free! and requires no subscription, its a no brainier! Great app! Highly recommend!

What can I say, this app just keeps getting better and better. I am so impressed with what is available at my finger tips from this app. Why anyone would pay for a flight planning website is beyond me. This app, and the their website are the best things going. PLEASE TRY IT OUT, you wont be sorry.

I have been using this app almost everyday for a year now and have finally decided to just go back to using it on my web browser. The password gets dumped every time I open the app and I always have to fill in my credentials (not a setting, still no problems with other password apps). Every time you hit the back button it takes you to the login screen versus the last page. The back button has never really worked it just, it just sits there doing nothing. The app moves very slowly. When you commanded to do something theres no indication that it took your command. So you hit it multiple times and 10 seconds later it freaks out. I really wish FLT plan would get this thing working properly so that I could start using it again. For now its much easier to just go to your Internet browser.

This is the clearest example of programmers writing their own reviews rather then reading others and fixing the app!!

This app is horrible on the iPhone. Have to use the regular browser. Will not stay logged in, notification every new page that you need to re login. iPad app works great. Please fix for iPhone.
